Now if he would just stop being a liberal cheerleader, he would be perfect.

Gatekeeper.

Pop off valve.

He'll make great speeches, point out obvious truths that should get anybody with a pulse angry and pounding their fists, and then offer no follow up, no real "solutions".

While refreshing, it's light, meaningless, ephemeral: it's giving a starving man a twinkie.

Put another way: "All sound and fury, signifying nothing".

I do enjoy it when Olbermann oozes self-righteousness. It is strangely satisfying.

I refuse to even watch him. O'Reilly is right sometimes too, and at least O'Reilly appreiates the fine art of brevity. Olbermann can take a simple point and turn it into a 20 minute diatribe, for no good reason that I can discern. (Except to hear himself speak, perhaps.)

No, not at all.

I wasn't being clear, what I mean is that, his rants, while certainly invigorating, offer no solution in that he supports the other side of the left/right dynamic.

He thinks, or works off talking points, that essentially say, "elect democrats and all this will go away".

Ron Paul is a solution, massive civil disobedience is a solution, taking over the delegate positions is a solution, third party/independent/renegade candidates are solutions, calling out the obvious BS of what his own network passes off as news is a solution, just for starters.

As far as I've ever seen, his only solution is to switch from cherry flavored poison to lemon flavored poison.
