This idea just struck me and I think it's pretty fun. Difficult but fun.

It would be really cool if some animator could make a Ron Paul School House Rocks (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEJL2Uuv-oQ) type of cartoon using this song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wdqjOmcfxqk). It could probably a Flash animation and still maintain the same School House Rocks feel.

the sad thing is, the example bill for this cartoon, some law to make school busses stop at railroad crossings, certainly isn't a federal responsibility. that's how they dumb the youth :(

I agree.

But... are there any animators out there?

I don't have too much skills in cartoon, but I can do motion graphics and compositing. I use combustion and at the moment I am working on ad's for the Ron Paul money bomb, NOV 5th, and some rEVOLution text animation. If I have time I can take a look at doing something like this. I need some kind of a storybord/script to see how much is involved.

To understand what combustion can do check out their demo reel here (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=5601111&preview=1&linkID=5572510)
Basically I can take footage, images & vector illustrations and move them around in 3D space. Do spinning logos that you see on the news, Add FX like most of the stuff you see in music videos and sci-fi. and add vector paint like flash can, but it renders out to video instead.

I will be making my animations available soon for everyone to use in their own projects. with a copyright restriction that the animations can not be used to antagonize Ron Paul's campaign.
