Howdy, folks!
It is with great pleasure that I announce that Ed Burgess has pulled off a victory in the GOP primary for the state house from the 30th district of West Virginia. More will be coming soon, including opportunities to help Ed succeed in being elected to the state house in our general election, and to promote our classical conservative ideals of a smaller and less intrusive government which serves the people of this state. This was a contested primary, and the voters have spoken - they've stood up for the ideals we understand to be so critical at this point in history by helping to elect a true conservative, Edward Burgess, to represent our Republican party on the ballot this fall.
I hope that you all take heart in this development as I have, that our movement is alive and well, and that our ideals are still held by many grassroots Republicans.

I'd urge you to check out the campaign website at http://www.burgesswv.com/ and to contact me if you're interested in supporting Ed's general election bid in any way.

On a personal note, I'd also like to congratulate Harry Bertram, who was running in an uncontested primary for state house from the 40th district and who has also been a part of the Ron Paul meetup in Morgantown. I'd also like to take a moment to congratulate all of the other victorious Republicans in today's contest, and I hope that they will become our friends and allies as we fight to restore true Republican values to our state, and ensure their longevity within our party.

- Matt D. Harris, campaign manager, Ed Burgess for State House
