Two independent filmmakers are working on a film about the Free State Project, titled A Candid World. (http://www.candid-world.com) Civil disobedience acts, like getting arrested for giving a manicure... pelting Federal buildings with snowballs... overwhelming the Legislature... and HUNDREDS of of libertarians and Ron Paul supporters massing in one place.

Digg it!

Not bad.

Nice to see someone documenting the goings on in New Hampshire. Looking forward to the full length film!

Turns out a second crew is also doing a documentary about the FSP, totally independent to the Candid World one linked in the top post(!)

This (http://forum.freestateproject.org/index.php?topic=15229.0) was recently posted over on the FSP Forum:

Hello everyone,
My name is Christina Heller. As many of you may recall, last fall my partner Craig and I produced "rent FREE," the short documentary highlighting Alec Muller and his involvement with the FSP. It aired on Current TV and was also featured on the FSP website.

As you all know, the story of (and stories behind) this movement are both compelling and mostly ignored by the press. Based on these facts we have decided to produce a feature length documentary on the Free State Project.

The documentary will be filmed throughout this summer and fall, and edited through the winter with a completion date in the spring of 2009. It will run roughly 60-90 minutes, and be submitted to regional and national film festivals.

I keep up with the goings on of the Free State Project on the Ridley Report. I can't wait to see these documentaries though.

When this comes out we should really promote this. Imagine if we could get even more than the 20,000 the FSP is looking for to move to New Hampshire. I think it would be much more effective than the CFL could ever be in trying to achieve liberty nationally.
