I ordered mine from Barnes & Noble a few days ago when I received a 15%-off coupon from B&N in my e-mail.

If you've purchased from B&N online in the past, check your e-mail from last week. You might have received one, too!

Don't forget to participate in the Revolution By Mail project that we will be doing as well. Getting a copy of the manifesto in the hands of delegates is a great effort. Once we get through them we will continue sending the manifesto to other groups as well including mayors, governors, military and so on.

Buy copies for yourself but don't forget to buy a couple copies for your friends and family. We need this book to really GET OUT THERE and have a ton of people buying them.

On the revolution by mail site we will have the book and audio version for sale so you can get copies for yourself OR participate in getting copies to delegates by buying one for the OR sending a copy you might already have.

I will be listing buying sources on the site as well and I think it is great to link to various places like this thread has done. Everyone knows Amazon will be selling it BUT there are those mom and pop shops and so on that could really use the business that would be great linking to as well.

Maybe we can get a "mom and pop manifesto" list together. Imagine some small book store owner getting 100 orders for the manifesto a day and now can stay in business?

Just getting this book bought and sold will help the mom and pop shops across the nation as long as we link to them that is.

Maybe a state by state list would be great BUT that is always yet another project lol. So many great ways to keep this Revolution alive....

Great thread...

Coupon codes as well.. Nice

We're going to have a Ron Paul unit in a parade this summer and we're considering selling books from it for $5 or $10, if the city allows it.

I went to borders and grabbed up the few copies they had as well. Make them get more in stock by pointing it out as well.

The nice thing though, borders had it on an end cap in the "Before you vote" section SO I was actually pretty happy. It was sitting next to a clinton book among other "presidential" candidate books and reads big and small.

I was happy to see him next to others instead of being tossed in the back.

Amazon is now listing the book as in stock, which makes it the best option for two-book orders. Buy.com is best for orders of three or more books being shipped to one address. Wal-mart is still best for single book orders (unless you plan on ordering something else from Amazon or Buy.com to make the $25 free shipping mark) so it's great for sending books to friends and relatives far and wide.

Four sites now have copies in stock: Tower Books, eCampus, Paradoxal Press, and eFollet. Only Tower Books is competitively priced, however. It's actually cheaper than Amazon but two copies falls just under the $25 mark needed to get free shipping.

Mahkato
05-27-2008, 08:07 AM
Today's update: Ron Paul's book is now back on Amazon's best seller list (http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/books/ref=pd_ts_h?pf_rd_p=221129101&pf_rd_s=center-1&pf_rd_t=2101&pf_rd_i=home&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1KA3CE4XE1QWSDH7X1CD), so they dropped the price back down to $11.55 from $12.60. This is good, but it means that two copies no longer qualifies for free shipping, so Walmart or Buy.com may be a better deal for you. It all depends on where you like to shop and what other side deals work for you.

If you purchased from Amazon recently at $12.60 per book, you can request a credit of $1.05 per book (http://www.fivecentnickel.com/2006/12/19/become-an-amazoncom-price-drop-ninja/) now that they've dropped their price. This is especially awesome if you purchased two books for $25.20 and got free shipping, because then you can get the credit and they don't cancel the free shipping deal.

BooksAMillion is now in stock.

Revolution By Mail (http://www.revolutionbymail.com/buy/index.php)

25 copies for $300
which is $12 per copy shipped

50 copies for $575
which is $11.50 per copy shipped

100 copies for $1100
which is $11.00 per copy shipped

We are working on getting better pricing currently but that really all depends on how large of orders we can place with the distributor as well as other secondary sources if need be.

I wanted to get this information added to the list since we just started the bulk purchase option on the site. This is in preparation for the Revolution Book Club that most of us will be participating in soon.

Tower Books raised their market-leading low price by a buck, but it's still one of the best deals available. Some of the higher-priced merchants are lowering their prices somewhat, but B&N and DeepDiscount raised theirs.
