Ron Paul Supporter Announces Congressional Bid

Kevin Barrett Campaign: Announce run for Congress at Ron Kind Townhall Monday

"Barrett said he was inspired to run for Congress by three people: Jesse Ventura, the maverick independent who beat the Democrats and Republicans to become Governor of Minnesota; Ron Paul, the Republican presidential candidate and defender of freedom; and above all Ed Thompson, the mayor of Tomah. "If Ed were running against me, I'd definitely vote for Ed," Barrett admits."

Why is 9/11 such a deal killer for some people? I don't see how it would impact policy, it seems like a personal belief for the more reasonable people. I'm not sure what to think about 9/11, but I don't really care what a candidate thinks about it if their stance on the real issues are good and they aren't running on a single issue 9/11 campaign.

deal killers:

1)

It is virtually impossible to overstate the profligacy

profligacy? you don't say.

2)
Before we try to break down and analyze this gargantuan sum, there is one important caveat

"...i'm having too much fun?"

3) the real deal, deal killer

I agree. However, he has it on his campaign's website. This is different. A lot of people here would be upset if Ron Paul had a bunch of religious links to his website, even though he doesn't let it impact his policy decisions.

In other words, if it's just a personal belief for him, why put it on his political campaign's website?
