The Freedom Tour needs an energetic freedom warrior that can handle any sound desk like a pro, to join us in our RV all across America.

We can't pay you, but you will get the Road Trip of a lifetime as part of the crew on the Freedom Tour, all expenses paid.

You'll be sleeping, driving, running the sound desk, and partying 24/7 as we bring Ron Paul's message of freedom and liberty to a dry and thirsty land. We're starting in Buffalo, NY May 30th and ending in New York city July 4th.

If you have what it takes, have a great personality, and will do anything to promote freedom, email us now at freedomrocks08@gmail.com

Not unless you're into time travel. Friend of John Titor's perhaps?

Nice to know I'm not the only person to lose track of the month....

Please describe this "sound desk". Sounds interesting. I have lots of experience.

28x the unknown....

:)

We decided not to use our own gear but to use in-house gear or hire for outside venues.

We need someone good...

Oh, oops, I just seem to have made an honest mistake.

No, that's just an ordinary phonebooth in my garage. Pay it no mind.

Just to prove how utterly unqualified I would be for the job, I thought they were called "sound boards", not "sound desks". Who knew?

The sound board is something else, I think.

I know whenever I've needed audio feeds from a speaker for rpiradio.com coverage, I ask for a plug into the sound board. :p

They're interchangeable terms.

Desks
boards
consoles
mixers

Just depends where you're from

I've heard of mixers, boards and consoles but never heard one referred to as a desk.

I'm AMAZING. (lies)
I'm like Mozart except BETTER! I can hear stuff! (more lies. I can hear though ;))

"All expenses paid" - does that include getting there? :D

I think it is more common amongst our English cousins. The first time I got a rider with the term, it threw me a bit, too.

rpv - Check your e-mail. I'm to bed, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

The following locations are tentative only. Dates will be added soon. Due to the obvious time restraints, some cities will need to be dropped from this list. It will be solely up to the enthusiasm and assistance Ron Paul supporters display that will decided who stays and who misses out. Make sure your meetup group gets behind this 100%. It's going to be an exciting show.

So what exactly can my Meetup group do to ensure the tour makes a stop in Kansas City?

But... we may do a NZ/OZ tour later in '08.

The Libertarian movement is alive and well down under.
