The regional coordinator for Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul will host an event in Reno today.
Jeff Greenspan is scheduled to speak at 6 p.m. today at the 19th Hole Restaurant at Lakeridge Golf Club. The event is open to the public.
Greenspan plans to speak on Paul's record in Congress and views on current events and campaign issues.
Paul, a 10-term congressman from Texas, was one of a handful of Republicans to vote against military action in Iraq. The Vietnam veteran and physician voted against the Patriot Act and Military Commissions Act, saying they violated personal liberties.
Greenspan is touring Nevada to pitch Paul's stance on issues. He was in Las Vegas Tuesday and will be in Elko on Thursday.
