Adam Berman writes:
Today Ron Paul won the Ronald Reagan Club's South Sound Republican Straw Poll with a whopping 30%.
Ron Paul supporters turned out for the presidential straw poll held by the South Sound Ronald Reagan Republican club this evening. Supporters canvassed people as they entered, providing slim jim handouts. We used the one with the picture of Ron Paul with Ronald Reagan. The results were as follows:
Paul, 45 - 28%
Thompson, 40 - 25%
Giuliani, 29 - 18%
Huckabee, 12 - 8%
Romney 12 - 8%
Hunter, 10 - 6%
Gingrich, 8 - 5%
McCain, 3 - 2%
Brownback, 1 - 1%
Gilmore, 0 - 0%
Hagel, 0 - 0%

100 days ago Ron Paul got ZERO percent in this poll (which they do almost monthly). My how things have changed, all of Fred's earlier support has shifted to Ron Paul's numbers.

That's awesome!!! Keep it up!!! The more straw polls we win, the harder it is for the media to tell say the support isn't real!

WOOOO HOOOOO!!!

Will this poll make it into the MSM? They seem to disregard our wins as anomalies. To them, it's really nonrepresentative, when enthusiastic people come to a meeting and vote for who they believe in. :)

Is someone keeping track of all these straw polls? We need a map it will help us see what needs to be done.

i think we're gonna win this state. democratic primary is meaningless (convention delegates chosen at precinct level) so we can get our d friends that would rather vote for the devil than an r to turn out for Ron in the primary. and, we're working on the precinct caucuses as well.

He didn't win this by accident. Local supporters showed up to hand out fliers as people arrived, and talk with them about RP.

As we were told by the leader of the Straw poll group, "Politics is won by those who show up."
