Yeah those are a great series of videos. My wife loves them, and most of the documentaries/lectures I try to get her to watch bore her to death.

My favorite moment is when he is listing Congress' enumerated powers and says

"Have we done that? Well okay then..... GO HOME!!!"

Yeah. I like the part when he talks about the law that would require congress to cite the clause in Article 1 Section 8 that authorizes them to make the law they are, and he quotes the congress guy that says, "If we did that we wouldn't be able to pass half the laws we make!" and he says, HMMM MAYBE THERE IS A PROBLEM HERE THEN!?!?!?

Mike Badnarik really put together a great primer on being a Free American.
I try to get potential converts to read Good to be King all the time.
I think it is a pretty short, easily understood, and quite shocking to many, and it is all about education NOT politics.

It is one thing to convince someone that Ron is the best choice, it's another thing to give someone the tools to make that choice for themselves. It's like a light bulb turning on. When we get that, it's not just a VOTE it's a new ACTIVIST.

A very good read is "Speaking of Liberty" by Lew Rockwell. It can be downloaded from mises.org under e-books. There are many other great books on austrian economics including a couple of Ron Paul's books that can be downloaded there as well.

LOL - Until the campaign is over I wont have much time to read anything (unfortunately)!

All I can say is at the moment I have a stack of books up to my hips that I need to start on.

My favorite: The Creature from Jekyll Island by Griffin -- a wonderful expose of the Federal Reserve, along with a fascinating history of the US from a monetary perspective. One of the most life-changing books I've ever read.

Good reading but none of it will help RP to get elected. In fact the more of this kind of stuff we read the less chance we have of connecting with the people who DON'T get what it is that we are all so excited about, and that's the issue, well, it's do or die in NH, we either get the breakthrough over there or we don't.
A better reading list for the entire campaign would be a series of PR and Marketing books. I have a whole libary of recommendations for those interested, because make no mistake, if RP doesn't get the nomination it will be 110% a marketing andPR issue, by him, his team and us. The message is great but it has to be delivered in a way that DUMB, STUPID people understand. You know, the fools who elected Bush in the first place. It's the same deal with Hollywood, the big money makers are NOT the smart, sensitive, complex plots with the best actors, they are the big, violent, sexy simple plots with the DUMB, GOOD LOOKING Actors. Sad, but true.
Our biggest problem is that we are all too smart by half, to win this thing RP needs to be inclusive to as many as the dumb huckabee, Bush and the rest of the clowns voter base out there, it's just not going to fully happen with the INDIES and Cross over Demos.
So, stop reading you fools and get dumber. Pass it on. Do we want to win or do we want to be right? It's RP's choice, right now he's right.
Well, let's hope everything I have written here is as stupid as I'm trying to be and that the folks in NH are brighter and give us 22% which will give us second.
God I hope.

I think it can help get him elected if we had all read all of this stuff prior to the campaign. I agree right now picking up a book instead of going out and canvassing would be counter productive, but once this thing is over, we should all self educate.
