I know many of you don't appreciate this Obama liking, BUT realize that this is Digg and we have to pander to their audience's liking in order to hit the front page! Besides, it promotes his book and everything else! Start digging people!!! We actually have a shot with this one!

I understand what you're saying about DIGG being Obama-Central. I'm just not sure it helps our cause to make the Obama people happy to know that RP said something nice about him. It's not like that's going to make them change sides.

This is a great video. Despite the misleading title (and frankly I love the title, after all don't we want Obama people to hear RP? This is the only way the Obama cult might accidentally listen) RP hits it right out of the park. He comes off as a true statesman. A man who can't be bought and who will stick to his principles despite party affiliation.

Guys... think about it... anything that puts Ron Paul in front of the Obama people is good! I believe that Hillary is going to win the Democratic nomination and at that time we need to convert as many Obama supporters as possible to Ron Paul. That work starts NOW... plant a seed here and there, show them that there's a better alternative to their "hero".

At this stage it's very wise for Ron Paul to say good things about Obama because Obama's supporters are most likely to switch to Ron Paul when the time comes. Obama sucks but that shouldn't stop us from attracting and persuading his supporters!!

I can not digg for two reasons:

1. It implies that RP sort of endorses BO.
2. Forien. This word is foreign to me. Is it a programming language?

P.S. Pushing a video with a blatantly misspelled word to the Obama people or anyone else will make us look like retardos. Or, if you prefer, Paultards. Buried.

I don't like Obama at all and I would never vote for him (unless RP really endorsed him).

Having said that, your comment about Obama supporters not changing sides got my attention. While it's true they won't choose Dr. Paul over Obama, what if Obama loses the nomination? A good feeling about RP might encourage some of them to vote for him instead of Clinton.

Thinkaboutit.

Of course it's a mute point with McCasshole as the GOP nominee...

obama like ms. hillary is lil' bit less upset about big brother.
he avoided the vote that had kennedy, byrd and kerry
not agreeing to a stronger patriot act II... he's evidently
closer to ron paul's foreign policy stances... so the only kicker
for a liberal is the gradual or abrupt reform or elimination of the IRS
and the federal income tax... not to toot my own horn, however i had

I think this is the wrong tactic.

What does the elite do to change public opinion? They find some small group of people seem like the majority so the majority follows the minority opinion.

So lets copy that. Let's say we find 5 young Obama supporters who are willing to switch to Ron Paul if Hillary wins the nomination some how....now make a news article and spread it all over the blogs that "Young Obama supporters switching to Ron Paul if Clinton wins". Ok, now we have a news story that will influence other young Obama voters to follow suit. Digg those blogs.

Bingo, now we have created our own news out of nothing and influenced some young Obama voters to do what we want them to do. Support and consider Ron Paul.
