How are we going to win back the nation with numbers like these?

You've got it backwards. He voted against a bill forbidding genetic discrimination.

I wonder how the other 5 Senators and other 20 Congressman would have voted.

All that this is going to do is increase the premium rates rather than charge those that are more at risk from heredity. If you're disposition is Alzheimer's than expect higher rates. I hate the socialists who commend Congress for doing this just because the excuse, "you might not have it, it destroys the concept of insurance." Hello?! Why do car insurance companies charge you more for driving a red car or for being a male? Just because I have a Y chromosome doesn't mean I should be discrimminated against!! hypocrites

Ron voted against *banning* voluntary DNA usage in negotiating for insurance premiums, and good for him. See

Now that this bill has passed I will be asking for a refund from my auto insurance company.

VOLUNTARY?

Great, now I agree with him completely.

Use of your DNA has never been compulsory anywhere in the US, as far as I know.

At the same time, Constitutional freedom of association means that an insurance company doesn't have to do business with people if they don't want to volunteer certain information, including their DNA.

This is crazy stuff...I am sure he voted properly. Go Ron Go and may Obama begin to reflect Dr. Paul's philosophy.
