The Utah State GOP Convention will be on May, 10th. I have come across one possibly good piece of news. Below is a resolution to amend the by-laws in regard to bound delegates to the national convention:

Utah Republican Party Bylaw Amendment
March 21, 2008
Submitted by: Utah Republican Party Executive Committee
7.0 CONVENTIONS AND ELECTIONS
B. Allocation and Binding of National Delegation. All National Convention delegates and
alternates shall be allocated to the candidate receiving the most votes of in the statewide vote in
the Republican Presidential Primary. On the first ballot, the National Delegation shall be bound
to vote for the candidate who has received the most votes in the Republican Presidential Primary
unless the candidate removes himself/herself from the race has ceased to be a
candidate for any reason or releases the delegates. but the delegation shall not be bound
on any subsequent ballots. The National Delegation shall not be bound on any
subsequent ballots.
Respectfully Submitted by: Utah Republican Party Committee
So its possible that Utah may be able to slip some 1st round votes to Dr. Paul after all.

Ah, simply dont vote in the first round. Then Mcwar gets no delegates and neither does Ron Paul. Second round of votes, RON PAUL all the way .
FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEDOM!!!!!

You guys just gotta make sure this isn't a device that the Romney people can utilize.

Using that method, you'd need the alternates to be Paul supporters as well.

I hope our Utahians don't try to pass too many Paul resolutions to out themselves, and instead just become National Delegates.

Didn't Romney win Utah? o.O

If so, the delegates don't have to vote for McWar on the first ballot according to the rules, right?

This was proposed by the party, not the Ron Paul delegates.

If the rule is adopted then that will be correct. if the rule change is not passed then the delegates will be bound to Romney.
