Yeah me either. I'm ordering mine tonight after I get off of work. I'm trying to figure out what else to get so I can bring the total up to $25 for the free shipping. I'm thinking either a Harry Browne book (they are all supposed to be really good) and maybe another one of Ron's books as well.

Ron Paul's new 190-page book, "The Revolution: A Manifesto", officially released today, is currently #1 on Amazon's Bestseller Books list and is available for just $11.55 (45% off cover price). It's an excellent defense of the libertarian-conservative perspective with a healthy dose of free market economics, all in easy-to-understand language and filled with historical background.

If you're interested in taking advantage of Amazon's free shipping offer for orders over $25, it pairs well with Paul's 2007 "A Foreign Policy of Freedom" (total: $25.12). Or you could order a few copies of The Revolution: A Manifesto and give them to friends and family or donate them to local libraries or coffee shops.

You may also be able to pick up a copy at your local bookstore, but you'll probably be paying full price ($21) in exchange for not having to wait. If you're shopping at Barnes & Noble, you can find printable coupons here: http://tinyurl.com/9cg97 You might want to call ahead to make sure they have a copy in stock.

I also recommend Robert P. Murphy's "Politically Incorrect Guide to Capitalism" ($19.95), a primer on the joys of keeping the government's hands out of the market, and other books in the Politically Incorrect Guide series.

Why does every other book list a release date except The Revolution? Why has The Revolution been being sold in stores for the past two weeks, when today was the first day it was supposed to be available?

Statistics to make the NYT bestseller list start today. They do not include how ever many books were sold prior to today.

Most book stores only have about 1 copy of the book in stock, because they sold the others before they were supposed to.

Where is my tin foil hat?

phixion

It will be interesting to see the rank in a few days and next week, then we will have a better figure of how well it's selling to the general masses after this initial launch period (and e-mail blast Ron sent out to his entire list of over 100k supporters).

Dugg & commented.

Remember: Don't say "Ron Paul" in your comments or Digg's algorithm's may keep this from reaching the front page.

And you may want to find the original digg directly by going to the Digg homepage (digg.com, then clicking on "2008 U.S Elections", then "Upcoming" and finding the original post, and then digging it. Not sure if that helps or not, but it might. If Digg sees all of the traffic coming from RonPaulForums, they won't weight our votes as heavily.
