View Full Version : Kick me. I could have been in a gallup poll

Last night at dinner, the phone rang and I saw "gallup organization" on the caller ID.

I jealously guard my privacy from unsolicited callers, so out of habit I ignored it.

Then it occurred to me that it was probably a political survey and I missed my chance to cast a statistically significant vote for Ron Paul.

I'm very ashamed, but I thought I'd share this so that other people don't make the same mistake.

Maybe the polls are rigged. But if they're not, we can make a difference by simply taking the time to participate, which most people probably don't.

Ah, it's fine. Since my parents became delegates, they've gotten surveys from Gallup, all are about alcohol.
