Last night at dinner, the phone rang and I saw "gallup organization" on the caller ID.
I jealously guard my privacy from unsolicited callers, so out of habit I ignored it.
Then it occurred to me that it was probably a political survey and I missed my chance to cast a statistically significant vote for Ron Paul.
I'm very ashamed, but I thought I'd share this so that other people don't make the same mistake.
Maybe the polls are rigged. But if they're not, we can make a difference by simply taking the time to participate, which most people probably don't.
