GIDDY UP :) Let's hope the media's newfound interest in RP shows a little clip of THAT scene. I've had goosebumps reading this forum for the last hour and a half. Something is happening here, and it's going to be WONDEFUL!

here's another:

Writes Craig Wechman: "Just went back at 3 and he was still signing books. Imagine how many more people would have been there if they had actually had more books. I was at the end of the line and heard people talking about how they took the subway to midtown to get the book and then came back. I think the Borders people were a little overwhelmed by it all. Wonder if anyone will show up at the end of the month when Newt the warmongering environmentalist comes to town. I may take a walk down and let you know."

What's that ringing noise? Ohhhhhhhhhhhh.....I hear the freedom bell! We need that book to go viral. Needs to be in every household. I'm buying 3 of them. One for me to loan out and 2 to send to my "liberal" friends. I hope it becomes their new "bible"!

he will make Newt Gingrich's book signing look like a Christopher Tolkien book signing.

According to Borders:

All 530 copies of The Revolution: A Manifesto were sold before Ron Paul even arrived. Over 850 people showed up over the course of the event, making this the second-biggest book signing ever for that store, behind Bill Clinton.

I am so mad at my self. I left early to get there and see Ron Paul. But I don;t go to Manhattan often and did not bother to look up the directions on the map. Long story short I am an idiot and wasted 2 hours before I got there.

Was there! Was awesome! Surrounded by freedom loving people! The only upsetting part was that the good doctor extended his hand to shake my three year old daughter's hand, and because she's a bit shy, she wouldn't! RP had a big laugh about it and I have it all on video!!!!

So, more people showed up for Ron then they did for Pamela?

Maybe there is hope!

Remember when he was meeting at Country Kitchens and "venues" like that?

Trust me, we should be very proud of what we have accomplished.

I helped promote this all over Myspace. A little bit of that huge crowd is because of a little generosity on my part :)

You?

It was PACKED. We got there at 12:30 and we were looped all the way around floor 3, then down into floor 2. By the time we left, it was twice as long...

Wish I could've been there!

I've met dozens of singers/guitarists from my favorite bands, even one of my favorite actors, and I've always been able to keep cool around them and whatnot.

Being that close to, even possibly shaking Ron Paul's hand though - I might just collapse from excitement.

I know it's about the message not the man, but I sure idolize the good doctor.

The place was packed. Ron Paul may have broken the law... over capacity in the room. :P
