Nevada, Missouri, Minnesota, Texas, parts of North Carolina, etc.

As an "establishment" member of the GOP, what's happening now has rarely happened in Republican politics in the last 30 years. The last time any of this happened on a national level was 1976, and the majority of the people in charge of conventions have never been involved in an actual CONVENTION. They, honestly, do not know what to do. I'm not in any way defending them, but they have never had to deal with contested delegate slots, credentialing, and other issues that take place at a real party gathering.

Most Republicans coalesce around a candidate, or ideas after New Hampshire, or maybe South Carolina, if heated. Most differences in the party are so small, they can be compared to a family quarrel over where to go to dinner this weekend. When an "uprising" occurs, maybe it's 6 or 7 people up against 100, like Buchanan in the '90's, and they're called kooks, ignored, and they go away. They never had enough people to challenge for delegate seats or even places on executive boards, etc.

However, the party establishment just kept toeing the RNC line. That worked, until this damn war and attack on our liberties, and a few Republicans dared call out the direction of our party. This is not something the party establishment should be fearing. But why is the establishment doing everything they can to protect McCain? This is someone who wasn't even supported by a majority of REPUBLICANS in early states. Unfortunately, I think they are putting party and it's recent history of elections by accaimation, and everyone just going along, above principled debate.

Though, this debacle in Nevada, McCain's attack of the North Carolina state chairman, and other "protect McCain" at all costs activities throughout the country is awakening an anger in the GOP. The neo-con agenda is cracking. These chairmen don't want to support McCain, but feel an obligation to, so they want to stamp out debate and dissention just to get it over with. They're really like wounded animals backed into a corner with no escape, but to attack those who want to help.

The destruction of the neo-cons is imminent. We have them on the run. As we advance, we pick up the Thompson supporters, the Gingrich folks, and the grass roots. It's happening. The National Convention will be the death of neo-connery and a rebirth of the traditional Taft/Goldwater/Reagan/PAUL Republican Party.

Don't forget the Huckabee and Romney supporters and all of those on the fence people too! As the gop continues to implode itself in a misguided attempt to hold on to power, all of the people that have started to pay attention to what's going on will start thinking that maybe, just maybe they should support that principaled man, Ron Paul.......

We need to proceed will Robert's rules in our hands and freedom in our hearts!
