You’re not going to believe this audio - Nueces County Texas Republican Convention

Great job guys! This is how Revolutions start!

Ron Paul Delegates Forced out of Republican Convention

At the Nueces County Republican party convention, March 29th, in Corpus Christ Texas, Ron Paul supporters walked out in protest and held their own emergency convention in the parking lot. Republican party Chairperson Mike Bertuzzi grossly violated party rules by announcing new delegates to the morning's roll call who were never elected as precinct delegates on the night of the Republican primary, then again by ignoring repeated objections by party delegates, which he is required to recognize..

Mr. Bertuzzi claims that he avoided a 'party takeover' by unruly Ron Paul supporters, but a recently released audio tape of the event clearly shows otherwise. As a blatant violation of convention rules is underway by the Chairperson, many delegates can be heard rising to voice objections with no avail until a local man, Paul Hunt , is escorted out by the Sergeant at Arms..

If anyone has any doubt that we're in a dictatorship, please watch this video.

The following morning, the local news rag, The Corpus Christi Caller Times, reported only one side of the incident, by claiming that a GOP party takeover had been thwarted while presenting Chairperson Mike Bertuzzi as some kind of political hero for violating the rights of local Republicans..

The above article is some of the most biased reporting I have ever seen..
Please call the news paper, send them emails, let them know that a sucker punch will not be tolerated!

How do local Republican insiders react to Ron Paul supporters demanding that rules be followed and their voices heard? By equating Ron Paul supporters with Al Qaeda and Jihadists, of course..

The renegade delegation form Corpus Christi is currently in the process of appealing to the State convention to have their emergency convention recognized in place of the now fully incredible organization led by Mike Bertuzzi.

Dugg.

So can these people who violated their rules and continually violate the Constitution be labeled terrorists by the Patriot Act 2 and the Homegrown Terrorist Act? Personally, I think they are a threat to our national security! ;)

I think they handled it correctly.
The next step is to file a grievance with the State GOP... have the precinct convention results overturned and (with any luck) have the precinct chair expelled. Get the media involved. Corpus is not RP friendly... but the Houston Chronicle is close by and has been as fair and receptive as we might hope. Get some Austin media involved as well. Some of them are receptive and this makes a good story in the State Capitol. Use the media to help keep on the pressure. Getting a media spotlight on the issue can help insure a better outcome. It is amazing how people clean up their act when they know they are being watched.

If that does not work have the TX States Attorney General go after the State GOP. The GOP rules are filed with the state. If the GOP is determined to be in violation of their own rules the AG will take it from there. At the same time apply to the National GOP for redress as the State GOP would be in violation of their own rules. At this point you should try to get the National Media involved… “GOP violates its own rules”; Wolf Blitzer reports at 11:00.

Use those tapes... keep your group connected... have everyone write down exactly what they remember (and do that RIGHT NOW)... be prepared to go to court... find a RP friendly lawyer and see if they will handle this pro-bono (not sonny-bono).

This WILL be a fight. Nobody said taking power would be easy. But this is exactly the type of fight and the manner in which it should be fought... use their own rules to YOUR favor and don't fall into any traps. Not only should be able to win this... you could get some really interesting press as well. Certainly locally in Texas... perhaps nationally.

Go get ‘em Corpus… and Good Luck :)

Lawsuit, please.

A Lawsuit is certainly one of the steps. But, following the correct procedure has a better chance of working (particularly if the press and media is watching). Plus, there is still time before the TX state convention in June.

Be ready to file suit if needed... set a deadline for getting the results you deserve... find the pro-bono lawyer now and work with them on the steps to take... don't let them hide this, get the press and media involved.

If the redress steps don't work... yeah, LAWSUIT!

to paraphrase Sun Tzu... it is knowing where and when to fight the battles... know your enemy and know yourself... then you win.
