Thanks for the link. I'm new to gold purchasing, so the more info the better.

The current trend is downward, but I know that won't last for long.

There are logistical bottlenecks that are going to limit gold production for the next several years: electrical blackouts for mines in South Africa, retiring of a generation of experienced miners/management, etc. The GATA conference was an eye-opener.

Looks good for gold. Lots of scrap (old jewelry) selling going on, but that is probably mininscule compared to mining output.

If there are any other tidbits from the GATA conference that you'd like to share, I would love to hear them. I hope it won't be too long before the conference video is available...
