i got my fire arms license today. a lot quicker than i thought. they said it would take up to 4 weeks got it in 2


the county did over charge for fingerprinting state law limits it to 5$ they charged 10

Good deal. That $10 is not bad. They charge $40 here in KS. If I were being arrested I would have gotten them for free, go figure!

true true, the criminals get their fingerprints for free. We have to pay $$$$.

Again, that's not too bad. Here it's $40 for prints and $110 for the license. The 2A should be my license, as it is in Vermont where no license is needed to CCW.

well, if they're charging over state specified limits.... notify the state.

just completed my CPL class today. it cost me 175 for the class, $75 in ammo, and i have to pay another $105 for the paperwork and possibly an additional $15 for having my finger prints taken... good ole michigan.

Michigan concealed carry sucks. Hopefully you submit your application shortly AFTER your birthday. If you submit it one month before your birthday, for example, your permit is actually valid for 4 years 1 month.

yeah they mentioned that in class.. my b-day is in the summer but i'm not going to wait. i want to be armed now haha. just have to grin and bear it... luckily native Michiganders are pretty much used to that.
