The chances up this happening are about billion to 1, but if it happened would you vote democratic.

The Idea would be that Obama would use Paul for economic change and put him in charge of getting out of Iraq. He would be used to show he is for uniting the country across all party lines.

It's a fantasy I know.

No way---- Obama re-authorized the Patriot Act and that was after him teaching Constitutional Law for 10 years no way can that man be trusted when he basically in my opinion threw away 10 years of his life work for this piece of crap legislation unless he was teaching crap about the constitution either way bad bad

Hell no. How is that a fantasy?

How could Obama put Paul in charge of "economic change" when Obama has an interventionist foreign policy and loves giving away money for foreign aid.

More like a nightmare....

How the HECK would that happen? Obama would change his mind on healthcare, gun control (very draconian gun control), war in Iran, reauthorizing patriot act, raising taxes, abortion, to name a few? And Ron Paul would change to be a democrat? Right... that will happen.

I see it more likely (albeit still a very distant pipe dream) that the war might come to some end/resolution/plain running out of money and siding with McCain than him ever siding within a mile of Obama. I'm hoping at the very least with some RP republican action at the convention will prompt McCain to make more Misesian choices for his cabinet than for the Democrats giving anything up regarding their position.

obama, in having an identical voting record to mccain and hillary, is far scarier because he doesn't have a bad rep for doing it.

people who voted for the patriot act should be impeached, not fainted over.

Well maybe Obama would be another JFK

Paul=Johnson

Not that I would want anything to happen to him, but I am just saying.

Choice Ron Paul as a GOP congressman or as Democratic VP, where do think he would have more influence?

No way - Paul was hammered over the letters - but Paul denounced them and made it clear it wasn't part of his philosophy. Obama tolerates the racist comments like those of Reverend Wright and the Trinity United Church of Christ.

I sincerely want racism to go away and respect for the individual is the way

"Would you support a Obama/Paul Ticket? "

At this point, YES if he doesn't win the Republican nomination which is possible, but improbable. I am not naive and not too idealistic and not too purist to not support that ticket. It isn't an ideal ticket for sure, but it would give Ron a national stage. Is the alternative Clinton with McCain as a VP?

It ain't gonna happen though.

I would be completely surprised if Ron Paul agreed to that. If he did and could convince me why it is a good idea, then I would support it. I will not support it right now because it is just another dumb idea thrown out there by someone who has no idea what they are talking about.

Again, I believe Ron Paul would never agree to this.

HYPOTHETICALLY

If Paul conceded to this, and teamed with Obama with a contract that all forces would be pulled out of Iraq in the first year of the presidency, and if not, Paul would resign in protest, would you support Paul's decision?

Well if it was to add,
NO taxes for social programs- End income tax
A return to Constitutional principals
A repeal of ALL 2nd Amendment infringing laws
A commitment to National Sovereignty
Closing foreign military bases
Ending the Drug war
Repeal NAFTA, CAFTA, etc.

I may consider it, But then again. Obama LIES.

I don't like it. Paul doesn't like it. It's why the Libertarian Party has trouble. It is pure and correct (in my opinion).

Imagine Obama saying
"I am very serious about getting out of Iraq and I need a guy that right to the core of his soul wants out to, he is also is excellent at economics, and we need help there too, I also want to bridge the gap between the GOP and democrats, and a former doctor can help me with a my health plan as well".

Seriously guys you mean if it was

Obama/Paul

Vs

McCain / Huckabee

You would still vote GOP? This is the test!

What would really be funny is

McCain / Hillary

Vs

Obama / Paul
