Obviously all of this jubilation is not coming from forum members who are just turned off by his rude and abrasive manner. I think all of us care enough about Ron Paul and the movement that we would put up with all of that, IF HE WERE HELPING TO ADVANCE THE CAUSE.

Obviously he is NOT; regardless of his rationalizations, "explanations", justifications, and obfuscations.

As much as I enjoy exposing his ridiculous pretenses (and needling his clueless supporters) it IS, ultimately, a massive waste of time and energy.

This is one "dog" that does not deserve a second bite.

It wouldn't surprise me if this actually works out. Streaming a planned rally is much more realistic then spontaneously streaming some cryptic late night conference call. Also, Mr Parent has little to do with this other then his website that redirects you (and solicits donations) to the stream of other internet radio stations.

FWIW, Mr Parent doesn't even know the state that the rally is in. He claimed it was Iowa until someone corrected him.

I'll cut him slack on that. Everyone makes mistakes. Encouragingly, he admitted he made a mistake and corrected it. Adopting that attitude earlier (or more consistently) would have prevented a lot of hard feelings and salvaged his reputation.
