Should we not show the American people that "Revolution" is no gimmick?

Start moving for generic libertarian slim jims. There's a great "Liberty Slim Jim" that has the Nolan Chart and some questions somewhere....

We want people to understand that this is not about winning elections but about the message and when they see the message they will vote for the candidate by the message and not on who is going to win. They will see that it is really the message and not Ron Paul or the election.

This isn't the right card, but it's pretty damned close... (http://www.theadvocates.org/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=LS&Product_Code=DEL&Category_Code=WOR)

1,000 cards for $35... Not a terrible deal ;)

No, we can't look like typical libertarian voters griping. We need people to remember that Ron Paul had this message and he ran as a Republican.

We have to get people to know that we expect to win and that we are a true revolution and campaigning for 2012 but pretend we are for 2008 is the way to do it.

Find a less obnoxious way to communicate your point. No one likes a flood of identical threads.

If you campaign for anyone other than Ron Paul or his son, then this isn't the Ron Paul Revolution anymore it will be some guy running for President and the media will marginalize him as another Pat Buchanan.

And you seem to be missing the point of the movement.

We shouldn't be wasting the resources we are on POTUS, and Pat IS the media now.

We need to exit the vacuum and realize this "revolution" is going to be MUCH larger and longer then the election of a president for four terms.

POTUS means nothing if congress is opposed. Paul stood alone in congress often, and once 3/4 vote against Paul again, he'll still lose. We need to ensure that those in congress will stand with Paul.

Well another poster stated that we should have a farm system. We give them training on how to campaign and speak. Thery must run under the Republican Party. We could call it the "The Ron Paul Revolution Foundation". We'll always be building for the future just like how Branch Rickey started the minor leagues.

This ain't baseball, for one.

For seconds, we don't need to set up a "farm system." One already exists. It's just that no one wants to spend the time in it. Why run for Town Council if you can run for Congress, ammiright? Pfft. Too many people with eyes bigger than their resumes.

That is why we have a ladder system.

Pretty sure that was Yongrel's point, or rather - of it's lack of use.
