I'll show for the rally. $500 is a little too rich for my blood for the dinner.

What events are planned for the 13th? I already have a planned vacation down there at that time. I will be in Culver City on the 13th and hope maybe there will be something close I can attend.

Petey Carroll? i guess since it's SC, but, c'mon. I'd prefer Tim Floyd or Taylor Mays
how about Bill Maher? Drew Carey, etc.

You'd think if we could get the word out to some of the celebs that they would love to finance a republican candidate that is anti war. At least they could feel safe with Ron as the republican nominee instead of the other warmongers. If anyone knows a celeb this angle should be used right off the bat.

Yeah, it's true. I know from the west coast campaign coordinator. He told me.

All I know is about the dinner and meet-and-greet. I haven't heard anything else.

I'd love that. Tancredo's on often, I'm sure they'd have him on as well.

Too bad those 'libertarians' Larry Elder and John Zigler are really neocons, I'd doubt either of them would have him on.

I've been wanting to call john ziegler and ask him how long it was going to take him to come around to the revolution.

We need to present this kind of stuff as an inevitability not a possibility. :)

There are a lot of "libertarian" / conservative celebrities (Bill Maher doesn't count since he doesn't really know what being a libertarian is, he just claims to be one) in the L.A. area who might be interested in ponying up some dough for a dinner with the good doctor.

Tom Selleck, Clint Eastwood, and Aaron Russo come to mind. Not to mention a guy who has a pretty good grasp of economics (for a lawyer / celebrity), Ben Stein.

Here's a list of "libertarian" celebrities:

AS far as the USC stuff, I think we should get the Iowa Mosiac Ad and make it specific for USC and/or fund raising event and paint the campus.

If we could only have a dinner like that in Michigan... I'm sooo there.

As an SC student over here I just might have to make my way over to Pete Carroll's office or something.

I'm glad I told my dad to hold on to his donation money for now and wait to see if RP would make it to USC.

Guess it might be time for me to make some more banners that can be hung up on campus too...

Maybe Alex Jones can work some of the celebs that he knows (Charlie Sheen one of them) and get them to attend. That would be great.

This is great - L.A. rally (which seems to be a campaign thing) and Philly rally. We have the coasts covered! This only gets the word and interest out!

Let's make this L.A. rally awesome as it can be a selling ppoint for the Philly rally also, as well as most importantly garnering those California votes.

Those working on the Philly rally should watch this to learn what works and what can be improved.

How about the Ron Paul mosaic ad with Ron Paul in a USC Trojan helmet?

(I can't believe I just suggested that... I'm a Stanford guy!)

Running the ad in the school paper would probably not cost too much, and generate a lot of interest.

I'm not sure about the USC Trojan helmet idea though -- it might be a Dukakis moment....

Yeah, I think the trojan symbol is sacred to USC students/alum. Best to keep it separate from politics. I do like the idea of advertising in the school paper. Why not?

I wish someone was organizing a celebrity outreach and could report back status on success. A lot of pipe dreaming there, I just hope someone is trying to get through to those who might support Dr. No.
