In the interest of getting a national dialog started, some dope at RevolutionMarch.com (who would be me) has published an un-official position paper and response to Devvy Kidd at

http://www.revolutionmarch.com/logistics/rncPosition.aspx

I say un-official because it's my personal position and we'd like to gather input before we come to an official position as a group. We might not develop any official position regarding the RNC at all. This is a partisan event.

I'm reading it now, just an error I ran across...

"In stratagic terms, we stand more to loose than we do to gain in this scenario."

lose, not loose. ;)

"And besides, there's other ways for you to participate in the festivities."

there are other ways...

Enjoying the read, btw. Not trying to do anything other than help out. I know you have a lot on your plate already, typos and spelling errors are easy to make. :)

I like it.

Thought- should we be getting our delegates hooked up w/non delegates who can attend as "guests"? Do all delegates get one guest?

I think we should all register to be volunteers at the convention and put a halt to all tasks they want done until they hear us out

I see this misspelling so often and it is a small thing, but it really grates on me.

Here is an article where a large national anti-war group are suing St. Paul because their permit has no details of where or when they may march on the RNC convention.

I had tried to contact this group to see if they wanted to connect up with those of us who would like to connect up with them. They booted me off their site with NO response. Boom....I was gone. I think that meant no. Or they were just being extra careful of moles.lol:)

Sorry for the spelling errors, it's one of my downfalls.

I've tried contacting various antiwar groups. They are almost always totally leftist and they mainly react as though I'm a Martian. I often wonder about the possibilities of getting together with the historic antiwar movement. I suspect that most hippies are in fact libertarians and they just don't know it yet.

But again, I'm not sure this is the event to do it in. I agree with the poster who liked being an official RNC volunteer. The more people we have apply for that the better.
