I just saw that too, and immediately ran to my laptop.

Knowing that Tucker Carlson seems to be a fan of Ron Paul I'm hoping that the Strippers for Ron Paul story won't be too destructive, but I really don't think this will be too good for us.

No I wasnt kidding. Any coverage is good coverage at this point. There are a lot of people who are ok with strippers and the adult film industry. How many of you don't have one single porn tape or DVD? And I remind again that RP needs to appeal to people other than die-hard conservatives if he is to win.

for those of you concerned about this, they are supporters of Ron Paul, not Ron Paul himself. Its not like Ron Paul is a stripper. I for one would be more than happy to welcome the entire adult entertainment industry into the rEVOLution.

It could result in some interesting photo-ops for Dr. Paul and might annoy Mrs. Paul, but overall it would be an extremely good support base to gain. I will happily volunteer to go to all the adult entertainment conventions to promote Dr. Paul. I'll take one for the team this time :p

And that is the common excuse to stay.
Once again RP seperates himself with his response to this issue.
1. The top responsibility is to protect AMERICAN citizens and troops.
2. Leaving gives the Iraqis an incentive to get their act together.

3. His answer to immediately take the troops off the streets, since it is a policemans job; not a military job is perfect. Our military would be over there to keep an immediate takeover from happening; but our troops would be out of harms way.

Most of the strippers over there seem to be supportive of RP. There are a couple that seem to be more turned off by politicians in general moreso than to RP himself.

Someone should point them to this forum and explain how they ended up in their forum. The seem to think djloti is a paid shill.

I have a friend who supports both Ron Paul and the Iraq War. I don't beat her over the head about it, because it's more important to get Ron Paul elected. Do NOT write off -- or even argue with -- people who are pro-war. It's their VOTE that counts, not their opinion.

Before I was a limited government libertarian and then an anarcho-capitalist, I was something else. Sort of a quasi-progressive non-interventionist, I guess. Once I heard the libertarian message, I didn't accept all of it. But I accepted most of it. And it was enough to inspire me to do more research. I had to educate myself on economics and history in order for everything I heard to make sense. For most people the process of changing from some sort of statist to a libertarian doesn't happen overnight. If someone is willing to listen to RP, I'm sure that they eventually will be 95+% with us.
