Hello Ron Paul Nation,
John Dennis and I are making great strides in our campaign to get elected to the San Francisco Republican Central Committee (http://www.sfgop.org/committee). We have been attending the central committee meetings and meetings of other local Republican groups to get to know those in the current establishment. We have been well received and encouraged by the libertarian leanings of some of those currently on the committee. John has even been appointed as an alternate to one of the committee members.
We are putting together a direct mail campaign that we believe will give us an excellent chance at being elected, but are estimating our total costs will come in around $4000. So far, we have been able to raise a little more than $500, but we need more help in order to fund the mailer and give us the best chance in the upcoming election. Time is working against us as the election is June 3rd and absentee ballots go out on May 5th. We believe the absentee votes will be critical and thus are planning our mailer to arrive in people’s mailboxes at the same time as their absentee ballots.
John and I are excited about the prospects of getting a foothold in the Republican party and giving the politics of freedom a strong voice in one of the biggest cities in the country. We worked hard for Ron Paul during the presidential primaries and believe this kind of grassroots action is the foundation of the revolution going forward, but we need your help to make it happen.
