...the news media tried to ignore him, but his name just seems to keep popping up in the most unusual places - like when someone is forced to remove their own sign that they purchased and placed on their own private property - so now more poeple want to know who this guy is and why there is such a furor over the issue?

(Those other guys could not BUY this kind of publicity if their lives depended on it!)

...When Ron Paul and Rudy Giuliani got into a tiff way back on May 15th and Michael Steele said, "Ron Paul basically, for me, it's done." The other commentator said at the time that Rudy should send a contribution to Ron Paul, but I think it's turning out to be the other way around. That was one of the early turning points of the campaign and probably when some people on here fell in love with Ron Paul. I think that was the debate where Ron Paul came in 2nd in the text poll with 25%. Definitely one of the early defining moments of the campaign.

That's what did it for me. I was just a casual observer until that point. I got so mad that I had to get involved, and I think that is what happens every time they dis Ron Paul. They are only enboldening us with every attack. Blowback is a bitch.

Oh my goodness, Robert! It was probably in 2004 that I called Paul's office in DC and pleaded with a staff member to talk Paul into running for President. The staffer laughed, said he wished he could, but Paul would not run again for President.

I remember starting to watch Situation Room and Tucker just to hear 10 seconds of Ron Paul mentioning and I was hella happy when it occurred once a week.

Also watching Stop Dreaming, when it had less than 100,000 views. That is it.

And I remember defending Ron Paul against negative comments on forums, before I was certain what his positions were. Good times, I am glad to know, that when I am 30-40 I can remember good times of being part of something meaningful even if Paul wins.
