The C-SPAN "Road the White House" bus will be stopping at my campus (Purdue) tomorrow for 4 hours. I plan to set up a table with all sorts of promotional material. I'm a student, but I've never politically campaigned to other students. Are there suggestions from anyone who has done this before?

Is there a schedule for that thing?

The schedule is right here (http://www.c-span.org/schoolbus/schedule.asp)

I've contacted everyone in my meetup group as well as people starting up the Ron Paul club on campus, but I haven't received a response yet (I just found out today).

I think in terms of manpower, I should be OK. I'm looking for strategies for talking to college students and how to get their attention. I'm a grad student, so I'm old and out of touch :P

Be outgoing. Don't be afraid to approach people. Have plenty of fliers to hang out. Get an interview with C-Span!

Man I wish that the bus would stop by my campus.

Don't lie, ignore those that yell or try to provoke you. If you are unaware of an answer, simply direct them to the campagin website. Be enthusiastic but polite. Let THEM talk to you and go from there.
