I'm assuming none such thing took place? Did ron paul ever end up RSVPing, and no one else did, or what? That would have been a pretty cool debate, so its obvious why the other "frontrunners" did not plan to participate...

I don't think he ever did RSVP. At least I didn't hear that he did.

Yeah, what's the big idea?!?! I was away from internet access in sunny Myrtle Beach all week, and was looking forward more than anything to seeing that thing on YouTube. I'll bet you anything some corporate axe came down on the whole affair, because they knew Ron Paul would have to get the chance to shine with so few contenders and hence more time to go around. I'm mad as Hell right now!!! :mad:

The last I heard was that no candidates decided to show. Who knows what that really means. Perhaps the "top-tier" candidates didn't wanna show, so the event was called off?

September 5th is most definitely on though!

I heard that they did have it, but representatives from the candidates invited just talked for awhile to whatever group was hosting it. It never came on TV.
