6300 votes in King county.
its sad, all the guys I work with support ron paul. but not one bothered to register to vote.
I asked all last year 'you votin for paul?' and 'hel ya' was always the answer.
Wa state makes it so easy with the mailin voting.

March election a success, results finalized
King County Elections today certified the March 11, 2008 special election, which included eight ballot measures from five jurisdictions.
All absentee ballots were reconciled to zero. King County Elections began working toward Six Sigma goals in 2005 to benchmark against inventory discrepancies between the number of mail ballots received and the number of mail ballots counted. Six Sigma quality performance means no more than 3.4 defects per million opportunities and is a quality practice used in Fortune 500 companies like General Electric, Motorola, and Bank of America.

Final results are available online. (http://www.metrokc.gov/elections/200803/results.asp)

a lot of folks were purged from the voter registration list - at least two of my friends that i signed up a in the last 5 years had been removed (though their adresses hadn't changed). it was funny to hear Sam Reed brag about cleaning up the voter lists last weekend as one of my delegates wouldn't have been eligible to vote if we hadn't checked.

i was dissappointed that the Ds had such a large turnout when their vote was meaningless as far as delegate allocation goes. i'm sure the majority of my friends that i got pledges to vote for Ron from either didn't vote or went D.

this is a tough place to stir passion for smaller gov't.
