Try this link: http://nssf.org/media/FactSheets/Bullet_Serialization.cfm

Also, just found this while searching for the link above. For those in MD, some good info on anti-hunting laws trying to pass: http://www.statesportsmenslink.org/News/articles/MDPRminimum.pdf

How many digits would they have to put on the all time champion target plinking round (and my personal favorite) the 22LR, and how would they make them fit? Seems mainly useful as a prelude to outlawing home reloading to me...

I understand it is to be done with a laser. The actual numbers would be very small. I also understand it would have the same numbers in the brass.

Yes, it is a good question as to how many digits it would take to number each and every one of those rounds. I suspect there would be billions.

do you guys get that the point is it won't work????

that the entire point is making a REQUIREMENT out of technology that will never work...

that you are required to have something that will never work?

that by requiring something that will never exist means that they effectively outlaw guns with legislature that "sounds reasonable?"

and that you will debate "how many digits" will be required on a round of .22 and NEVER REALIZE that distraction is the key...

that keeping the rounds from ever being made, but MAKING THEM MANDATORY is the entire point?
