I miss these forums. Remember how crowded and promising everything looked when we had thousands of us here back in Iowa? This is depressing.

I'm just growing impatient, and losing hope. I'm not even doing anything to help anymore. I've got to get active again.

Wolf joined in December, when there was an avalance of posts and it was frankly hard to even keep pace with things.

The forums now are more like they were last May. The die-hards are still here.

Speak for yourself. I joined the same month as you and have over 2500 posts here. You have less than 100. No need to be negative.... besides, what do you expect when almost all primaries are over?

what do you expect when almost all primaries are over?

Anyone think I'd be too far off the mark, in saying - he expects to perpetuate the negativity?

Anyone? Regardless if it is his intent or NOT, its the result. I look at the end result, its far more objective. Don't you think?

How about some perspective.
McCain - doesn't have any forums.
Obama (http://www.obamaforums.com/chat/) - LMFAO - like 20 threads. Then there is x400 in the Republican Lounge. All of it porn :| haha.
Hillary (http://www.nohillaryforpresident.com/hillary-president-forum/) - rofl, the only forums are a NO hillary for president forum.
Huckbee's - ahaha who remembers this one?
Fred Thompson - omfg. LOL
Dr. Ron Paul - there are like 10 awesome ones. Take a pic :D

We are still here AND the primaries are not over--NC is May 6th and we'd love some participation from all of our friends down in SC.

Yes things are a little slow, and people are a little less firey as a whole, but my determination is still there! There are great resolutions to refer to from other conventions that we can use here in NC.

Wear your ron paul gear, people still come up and ask me about him. Have your lit with you wherever you go so you can at least hand someone something.

Actually, Huckabee's isn't so bad... he easily had/has 2nd most grassroots support. We have 1st most obviously... doesn't even come close.

my conversations with hard core gop people have had a common thread,
1--they don't like bush or mccain and don't trust either of them
2--they don't know that keyes, huckabee or rp are still on the NC primary ballot (in 3 weeks)
3--they end up thinking about voting for one of the three mentioned in #2 after talking about voting your conscience--or at least someone closer to what you'd really like. I tell them that mccain will get the nomination and they can vote for him in the fall if that's what they really want to do, but why not vote for someone else in the primary--why not? If they dislike him so much, why not??

I'm getting great success!!!

Remember this is only the beginning. We have set brushfires in people's minds.

The primaries were the first battle. We're taking a bit of a breather right now. Make no mistake however, the rEVOLution has only just begun.

It seems that a lot of Ron Paul supporters fail to realize that we can still win even if RP doesn't end up in the White House this time. He has just given a tremendous boost to the movement that already existed. People are waking up by the boatload now.

Support the "Ron Paul Republicans" who are running for office. They are extensions of the RP campaign and critical to our success in the long run. RP wouldn't be able to do it alone anyway.

It's going to be a crazy year.

We've gleaned trolls though. And the exuberance has largely dissipated.

Because no one wants to shift their focus from the Oval Office to the Congressional Offices.

We are a large group so it will take time to move...more parallel efforts of smaller groups the better.

There are local committees in the party, congressional runs in strategic spots, and helping other independent tickets for president left to do....

We have a lot of fun ahead...no reason to feel bad at all..

The movement now has its chance to start taking control.
