Ron Paul In Michigan!
It has been confirmed that Ron Paul will be attending the Michigan Republican Leadership Conference on Mackinac Island Sept 21 & 22. This
year's theme "Relying on our Roots, conveying a strong message of support for our grassroots and a reliance on our Republican roots" is an excellent
opportunity to show the Michigan Republican Party and the rest of the United
States what a true grassroots effort really is! This conference is the largest
political event in Michigan with over 2000 Republicans booking the island. Enormous publicity will be generated as several high profile figures and candidates such as Romney, McCain, & Giuliani will be attending. Mackinac Island is the oldest resort hotel in the United States where
visitors and residents travel by foot, bicycle or horse-drawn carriage. This
is a fantastic way to take a great vacation, meet other Ron Paul fans and
wave those banners at the same time! You can bring your own decorated bike,
put a sign on your rented horse buggy, drape a banner on a horse you have

the most economical rooms in Mackinaw City and across the bridge in St.
Ignace for supporters.
When making reservations at either place be sure to ask for rooms under
MIRONPAUL to get the discounted rate. There will be activities on the island
for supporters so if you opt for another hotel in Mackinaw City please stop
by the Super 8 Motel to obtain an itinerary.
Most conference attendees will be departing from the Mackinaw City location
on Sheplers Ferry. This is the only ferry that will have an additional late
run leaving the island at 12:30am. Individuals who register with the
conference will be granted access to the Grand Hotel, vendor tables, meal
functions and various receptions.
