This is what my daughter will be wearing.

Awesome!

Next step: have her inform folks that every time someone votes Ron Paul, a kitty's flower patch is saved from eminent domain. :D

Thank you all. I think that she will remember forever. Here's how it went:

My daughter and my wife waiting in the hall before going in. The hall is a lot longer than it looks in this picture. We actually had to move forward to another hall to make room for the line later on. We stood here for close to an hour. The line was already long when we got there.

Looking on (at Ron Paul) during his speech. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2026/2422475597_9c134104b6.jpg?v=0

Dr. Paul shaking my daughter's hand (not visible). This is the best picture that I was able to get. (I know what a pressing crowd feels like now.)

The sweat shirt was not the best choice. It was probably 80 degrees in the hall.
We made another mistake of going directly to the center of the hall behind other people (instead of going off to the sides where there were no people.) My daughter couldn't see and we had to keep picking her up - it also would have been a lot cooler with no one in front of us. I realized my error when he came down to shake hands. He went right down the row and then came back again. This must have taken at least an hour or more. I never did get to shake his hand.

Dr. Paul came from a speech in Gettysburg that morning. He then gave this speech, shook hands, went to a dinner, flew back to Washington D.C that night, went to work, and then went on to something else the very next day . The amazing thing is that he is doing this for us and our children. There is no sense of pride or arrogance in the man.
