Hi guys,
I was wondering if it is possible to send a mass email out to everyone who joined the Ron Paul Forums, and ask the ones that left to come back, since we need them more then ever. We need all the help we can!

if they did this it would have to explain what we're still doing, etc

"Getting delegates"
"Working in states that haven't had their primary"
"Supporting candidates for congress"
etc

With posts like this:

Kade probably works at Mc'Donalds and expects us the middle class to pay for his house and his kids whom he doesn't claim so the sow he got pregnant can get welfare. I know how all You liberals are You have no concept of personal responsibility or liberty. Hey I'll tell You what enjoy the bread line fucknut because its you're idols Hillary and Bill that have sent this country in that direction. We need a change and we need one now and its not Obama. I guess You will be the Torry when that change happens?

We are on our way!

The drop in active posters was actually fun for a while. It reminded me of the good old days where everybody got along here. Unfortunately, this board took a negative turn shortly after. There's a widespread lack of understanding of what this movement is truly about - and it's not about Ron Paul. It's about Liberty. It's about agreeing to disagree on our differences, and fighting for our freedom to live our lives the way we feel we should - not some corrupt politician. Ron Paul is just a human like us. He's a man of integrity - but like all men, he's far from perfect. Closing our minds and ears to everybody - even people who are on our side - and swearing our loyalty to one man as if he is a king or a god is the opposite of what we're fighting for. Treating Ron Paul like royalty does not make us a revolutionary movement - it makes us a cult. This is why I do not plan on wasting my vote on a write-in that won't even count this November. I plan to cast my vote for Bob Barr.

In the mean time, we need a fresh group of people here. I'm in favor of sending out a mass e-mail.

Why? So we can have 3,000 posts of "Anderson Cooper is teh gayz!!!!" and "Hillary Clinton is the devil!!!"??

Having 3k members online is fine when there is work to be done, but right now there isn't. If we could all decide to focus on the Ron Paul Republicans running for congress and other offices instead of obsessing about various potential compromises for futile 3rd party and Independent runs for President, maybe it would be worth asking them back.

Right now, there's no point.

I think others, myself included, got tired of the conspiracy theorists and the bullshit misinformation that was being posted constantly. When the forum started getting really large and the number of active members was in the thousands a lot of new people were showing up who didn't seem to understand the message at all and they clogged the boards up further with their crap until it became nearly unbearable. I still check in every few days because I get a laugh from ghemminger's threads, but it's gone too far downhill quality-wise to be taken seriously anymore.

I'm referring to his forum.

I made it a metaphor referring to Dr. Paul's campaign. High donation volume when campaign emailed, near flat when they didn't.

Any evidence to back that up? lol. That will be my new line for everything. thanks

Will tonight... I don't believe I ever deleted the emails and will post the day before, of, and after the email was sent based on what "Ron Paul Graphs" recorded.

But then, if you wanted to be argumentative, you really need faith to believe in RPGs, or even that the campaign didn't inflate their numbers somehow.

Edit : Okay, Monday... IF this is still active and people still remember and pester me about it.

How about sending out an email saying what the top 10 news stories of the week were to all the members? That would be cool.

Example:
Ron Paul's new interview on youtube. Link to thread.
New song by a supporter. link to thread.
House votes Blah. Link to thread.
Senate action blah blah blah. link to thread.

Email once every 12 days or some other strange number. Like roll some dice and see what number between 8 and 13 comes up and mass email every that many days.

Keep the masses informed even if their too busy to come here.

So we waited a few weeks but its been done. :) Everyone should be getting:

Subject: The rEVOLution marches on!

Dr. Paul's new book is number one on Amazon and is climbing the New York Times and other best seller lists. Ron Paul supporters dominated the Nevada caucuses, and he took his best showing in a primary so far in Pennsylvania recently with more contests approaching fast. Even the MSM is starting to pay attention to the good doctor again, don't miss the interview on CNN American Morning: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=134818

There are many great opportunities to continue the rEVOLution:

May 1st (today!) is the Mayday money bomb http://maydaymckinley.com for congressional candidate Vern McKinley http://www.mckinleyforcongress.com who is one of the best chances we have to get another Ron Paul Republican in Congress. Even Dr. Paul himself has cited Vern's public policy work!
http://financialservices.house.gov/banking/31198pau.htm

Other Ron Paul Republicans are running in other races.
http://www.ronpaulforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=230

A new organization "Freedoms Ground" is attracting many of the best and brightest of the grassroots organizers to build the infrastructure we need to further the cause of liberty.
http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=135199

Granny Warriors hosted a fun rally on the Capitol grounds where Dr. Paul spoke; they are now planning a Revolution for Freedom Festival in Sturgis, South Dakota on July 2nd to the 6th.
http://www.revolution4freedom.com

The big March on Washington comes right afterwards on July 12th. Get info / help plan it here: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=89

Operation Cat Herder is reaching out to those wanting to keep the revolution moving.

There is so much more! The fight for our future continues, spread the message via your blogs, meet-ups and more!
