Hillary and Bill have a campaign song, I think that Ron Paul should have one. Why don't we take suggestions on what song would be best. Maybe give a list of songs and we'll put them up as a poll.

BTW, what kind of music does Ron Paul like?

Ron Paul, the President Man by Stephen Dore is on Dr. Paul's myspace, so I guess if you want to say we have a campaign song, then thats it.

(I made a video set to the song, look in my sig)

But remember, just because some big name candidate is doing it doesn't mean we have to.

I'm kind of partial to "We're Not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sister. Might not play well with older voters though.

Dude I love that song! I've been playing it over and over in the mornings at work. Makes me happy. I walk around the office whistling it rest of day. :D

We don't need a song. We should just have a message. I think that's how we're doing it already. Seems to be working fine so far.

Since Ron Paul is so much about the individual (and I'm a DJ ) why don't we just have our own songs of celebration, letting our lives be examples of RPs ideas for America.

Just an Idea. :-P

Love it!

Never heard the song before, but I can just see the entire crowd go "Fight the power!"

Close second: U2's Beautiful Day.

Probably not as helpful as you'd want, but Dr. Paul told a Texas townhall meeting in answer to that question, "elevator music."

"We're Not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sister
"Fortunate Son" by Creedence Clearwater Revival
"I'm Takin' My Country Back" by Honky-Tonkers for Truth (maybe a little too laid back, but still has cool lyrics.)

I agree with a previous poster that it's more important to have a good message, but we shouldn't underestimate the ability of a really powerful anthem to get people pumped up and ready to unite.

Hillary Clinton has effectively turned politics into American Idol lol.

Pretty sad but probably more Americans will actually vote now :(

Fight the Power is a GREAT commercial and video, but the reggae song stays in one's head. I can't get it out of mine. Don't know about you. Good to dance to, catchy, hip, appeals to the hemp crowd and pleasant enough for Granny.

For Hillary's campaign song, there is none more appropriate than "Back In The USSR" by the Beatles.

How about Tom Petty's song Won't Back Down? Also, POD has some songs that are pretty relevent and very energizing!

Yeah that would be a great campaign song! It suits Ron too. It suits us too.

"Come Together" By the Beatles

He say "I know you, you know me"
One thing I can tell you is you got to be free
Come together right now over me

For the younger generation they have probably seen this. I think it fits well.
