Not to sound overly militant, and i'm not speaking of actual firearms......

We've got bigger guns. Besides, its the sheep that are following Obama......Ron Paul is not being followed by sheep, there be only wolves here. History has always been written by wolves, and as my favorite quote says "Fortune favors the bold".

Could you please expound upon that - what will the wolves do?

ghemminger, what if BOTH groups alternate the presidency?
what if its an Obama/Clinton ticket that has a 5% lead over a
McCain/Romney ticket or the like in NOVEMBER of 2008, so we
might see a PAUL/BARR or PAUL/HUCKABEE ticket, let alone also
even a VENTURA/PAUL ticket sweeping into the presidency in 2012!!!
if the economic situation gets worse steadily on a downhill slope, if one
set of countermeasures doesn't cut it, the voters swing to the opposite side
of the centrist spectrum! this all could REALLY ruin JEB BUSH's chances in 2012!!!
i think a 269 verses 269 split in the electoral college looms, this red verses blue thingie!!!

Its hard to say.

But Obama supporters don't expect shit to be hitting fans. Most of them think things are peachy enough to continue the status quo. In the event of an economic collapse, they would be just as clueless as anyone else. Their paradigm might just fall apart. I can't see the same thing happening to Paul supporters.
