This concerns me, too. It is my fear that people won't come to us, what we offer is freedom and they have to *gasp* work for it. I think they are more likely to turn to whatever socialist/fascist is in office promising to take care of them. I picture a propaganda campaign being launched: Guns for Food! Turn in your guns and sign up for the free food program!

Bruno - what can we do on a grass roots level to be the good version of the "Nazi" party that is anti establishment but at the same time steals the Riens of Power from the socialists and the neocons

I think you are forgetting that the Nazis were driven by a unity of spirit that overcomes all obstacles to a goal. With the conspiracy loons driving away more committed and saner members, the movement will never be cohesive enough to take advantage of an economic collapse.

Anyway, the whole point is moot as the economy is on the mend. It is now, and people won't be as bothered as perhaps, they should be.

Anyway, I find it interesting how you use the Nazis as a model for a Ron movement. Not quite the illustration I would have used.

On the mend?

How do you figure that? We are only just beginning a slow down.

You forget, even on a hard currency, all economics is faith based. If people have the faith, the economy will recover. Right now, from what I see, folks are poking thier noses up for the opportunities to make lemonade from the lemons of this housing mess.

So, for the moment, economic collapse is put on hold, by the people.

Lmfao... Can you do me a favor, can you put all your live savings onto the stock market? sincethe economy is on the mend - go on, go make a quick buck..

They hold all the cards, they are putting it off - NOT because of the people, you fool, and it has NOTHING to do with faith. The IMF is selling off gold slowly over the next 3 yrs, they won't be able to fight it, prices will rise, but they are stalling the drop of the dollar - what you call "faith" is actually, MSM - propaganda and group think, people think what they are told - by the msm.

The illusion of stability is what is being perpetuated. If you know anything about Derivatives - its highly unregulated.. the banks, CHOOSE to announce what they have lost, how much and when.

Appearance does not = reality. It appears to be on the mend, by its the exact opposite.

Whateva, go on 'faith' = see where that gets you. I'll let you in on something; it ain't pretty.

i thought the better metaphor and example is thusly the ANTI-FEDERALISTs who
were a vocal yet co-ordinated ragtag outfit seeming to be at best half-literate as a
half informed revolutionary rabble who politic without as neatly focused a direction
as the FEDERALISTs who tended to lionize nicely our Treasury Sec ALEXANDER HAMILTON!!!

debt based economics is faith based.

Faith alone is no match for true economic laws.

I concur that faith based economics is nonsensical. But I am curious, hairball, why you think people have faith in the economy? THe headline on my paper this a.m. says "Middle Class Feels Gloomy."
