Not sure about the reliability of it, but interesting nonetheless

FALSE FLAG ALERT -- APRIL 7-11

Attention: Federal Bureau of Investigation

This alert is issued in accordance with a mission of conscience by two former military officers: Major William B. Fox, USMCR, Publisher, America First Books; and Captain Eric H. May, former Army intelligence officer, Military Correspondent, The Lone Star Iconoclast. We consider our actions to be consistent with the oath we took to defend the Constitution of the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

This week, April 7-11, there is a heightened possibility of a foreign or domestic false flag attack, used to trigger a war with <?xml:namespace prefix = u1 />Iran. We believe that the most likely false flag events would be either an attack on a US ship abroad (e.g., the Israeli 1967 false flag attack on the USS Liberty), or a false flag terror attack on the US domestic target. The most likely patsies would be Iranian military forces or Hezbollah.

Captain May’s March 31 article in the Lone Star Iconoclast Spring Fling in Iran? -- Updating World War III describes several significant intelligence indicators for commencement of war with Iran:

1. Israel will conduct the largest domestic defense exercise in its history this week.
2. Admiral William "Fox" Fallon, who vigorously opposed an attack on Iran, was sacked as CENTCOM commander on March 11.
3. Senator John McCain has recently made repeated statements that Iran is connected with Al Qaeda.
4. General David Petraeus has recently made the claim that Iran is responsible for destabilizing Iraq, particularly in the matter of recent attacks on the US Green Zone in Baghdad.

Since that article's publication, top Bush administration members have held meetings with key foreign leaders, which may have been used to reach an accord prior to an attack on Iran:

1. George Bush met with Russian President Vladimir Putin this weekend.
2. Dick Cheney recently met top leaders in Saudi Arabia.
3. Robert Gates visited the Sultanate of Oman.

Numerous mainstream news articles from mainstream sources support possibility of war with Iran in the near future. All articles listed below were written in April:

* Exclusive: Iran, Syria, Lebanon on military alert
* Israel: Full-scale War-Drill on April 6-10, 2008
* British fear US commander is beating the drum for Iran strikes
* Ritter says White House preparing for war in Iran
* Alarmed’ As US Readies April Nuclear Attack On Iran
* Israel to Redistribute Gas Masks Amid Fears of War with Iran
* Another American War Crime in the Making
* Israel conducts War Games directed against Iran and Syria

The author archive page that Major Fox created for Captain May's previous work explains in great detail why the false flag attack threat is very real. W. Leon Smith, publisher of The Lone Star Iconoclast, has endorsed Captain May's select methodology in his March 3 editorial " Time to Investigate Houston is Now" and his March 26 editorial " Lone Star Lone Ranger." Mr. Smith has called for a Congressional investigation based upon Captain May’s accuracy in issuing alerts that were borne out by later events.

We believe that an informed public is our best defense against the possibilities we have raised in this alert. We considered the absence of substantial mainstream media attention to the war indicators we have mentioned above in itself to be an indicator that a lapdog press corps is enabling the possibility of war. Serious discussion will remove an extremely serious threat, and it is our name to inform the American people so that they can initiate that discussion.

Respectively submitted,

Major William B. Fox
Captain Eric H. May

We don't have the military resources to fight a war with Iran.

Selective Service will take care of that

How are we going to pay for that? And, doesn't the Revolutionary Guard have like, over 10 million soldiers?

If they are going to nuke Iran, then I doubt they would be sending any troops in. Why would they send troops into a 'hot' (radioactive) zone? If anything, it would all be done with Naval air support from carriers and USAF strikes.

We don't have the military resources to fight a war with Iran.

IF it occurs, an attack will most likely be centered around air attacks, not ground mobilization.

When we indulge in the petty legal precedents set up by the necessary evil of tyranny, we give it legitimacy over the civil purpose our founding fathers defined in our Constitution. When concerning ourselves with the major issue of the Constitution, we become major citizens; whereas, when concerning ourselves with the minor legal precedents set up by law makers outside of it, we become minor clients.
We share a Continental culture as American transcendentalists who because of our common philosophy should ignore and reject the petty issues regarding legal precedents in favor of an overall collective happiness intended for all in the Constitution. Not to do so erodes us back to the European politics of yesterday.

What would be the objective in attacking Iran? What is the desired outcome?

How are we going to pay for this war? I don't think it will make much of a material difference in our financial situation to create another front.

Where will we get the people? A draft will be necessary. I've realized that now. Unless, of course, something to encourage a jingoistic response were to happen... (false flag), but I think most American YOUTH (read: draftees) will see right through that. The old farts will wave their flags and bid us good luck though.

The Iranians don't have an actual force of 10 million (trained & equipped), they just have a LOT of veterans from the Iran-Iraq war who are battle hardened. The equipment is where they're lacking.

I guarantee this would turn into a high intensity meat-grinder, rather than an insurgent attrition effort like Iraq. It would begin with a lot of air action to take out anti-navy missile sites. The Air Force would have initial lead before being forgotten...as usual.

Selective Service will take care of that
Takes months to make selections (registration has already taken place), send out notices, have everybody report, get them trained, armed and sent where you want them. Won't happen by April 15th or whenever. If you were a commander, would you want all these fresh, raw recruits facing a highly trained and motivated force- fighting on their own turf? The Iraqis were not motivated to fight for Sadam. The Iranians will fight for their own country.
Then you have the problem with equipment. There is so little now that when National Guard units are called up, they bring their gear with them and are not allowed to bring it back when they return. Again, we do not have the resources.

How about some thought from conservative (not liberal) thinkers about the possibiliby of invading (or even attacking via the air) Iran.
http://thinkprogress.org/iran-military-option/

The US instituted regime change in Iran when they installed the Shah- replacing a democratically elected leader. The result? The eventual rise against him by the Ayatolla and the people in charge now.

u think not having the resources will stop them from waging war on iran?? ehhh try again....they sent our boys to iraq in unarmed vehicles......i dont think they care much about our children dying or not having the resources for them....all they want to do is set up a permanent base as they did in iraq and take control of the country....all for the sake of our safety

You are looking at a country three times as large as Iraq with twice the population. We don't have enough men or machinery to try to occupy it. We don't really have enough in Iraq at the moment for what is being expected of them.
