I'm seeing a butt-load of threads about things many of us disagree on.....plenty of debate going on around here today.

I just thought I'd start a thread about something we can all agree on.....kind of a group hug. (yes, I realize how gay this is)

Feel free to opine on how much of a bad-ass Ron Paul is. Talk amongst yourselves.:D

My favorite thing about Paul was he was practically a party of one for the last 30 years since no one really agreed or supported him.

Now he has a pretty large following but even up till that V-day and Teaparty day, he only had .5-1% support barely registered on polling..when they polled him.

He marches to his own drummer.

I've followed and honored Ron Paul for about 10 years but...

Ron Paul kicks ass because my three children are now on the path to understanding the constitution and indivudual liberty, I didn't have to work my butt off to force them to learn it, AND they find it interesting! We now frequently have discussions of topics such as the Bill of Rights over dinner. Never in my wildest dreams could I have ever imagined my children getting such an education, especially in such a short period of time!

I suspect that I'm not the only parent who has had this experience. That's quite a legacy!!!! :D:cool::D

I just stumbled on this video... it's an interview from after the debate where Rudy made it known he didn't know jack about foreign policy.

Multiple times he challenged the reporter with "Why did you pick just those statements?" and "why are you feeding the frenzy?"

Where was this kick-ass side of RP for the rest of the campaign??? He obviously has it in him!

too bad Ron didn't go after more jugular veins in the debates while debating or while being "ignored" by the demagogues.

Being too passive is his only shortcoming because we need some real firebrands to tear down the facade that is propped up....being polite and calm isn't going to get it done in the ENTERTAINMENT era of "news"/propaganda.
