In February, I started a "presidential campaign" at ZetaBoards Forum Support. InvisionFree/ZetaBoards is the biggest group of internet communities on the net. The primaries weren't for a couple of days, but I was gaining support and one of my main opponents dropped out and endorsed me last month. Today, my final opponent dropped out which means I will be the Republican nominee for the election against The Liberal Party, The Cow Party, The Party Party, and The Commies (lol, these were the parties that were started by people and managed to get campaigns going).

It wasn't very hard to campaign with our message... you know the message of freedom. I even said I was a Ron Paul supporter, and I honestly haven't met anyone else in the party that is.

The great thing about this was that continuous debate was possible. I wonder what would happen if they were able to do that in the real election. =o Anyway, I think this is pretty cool, but it will be very hard to be the Liberals (Democrats). Is this a big deal or am I exaggerating? =D
