"Ron Paul Goes to the Zoo" to be screened at Cannes Film Fest

I got a phone call at 3:00 am this morning saying that my music video "Ron Paul Goes to the Zoo" has been nominated for a Cannes Film award. I thought it was a prank, but I called Cannes and confirmed it.

It will compete in a new category, "Short Political Films." Apparently, the Ron Paul revolution has made quite a splash among the creative community in Europe.

I don't know who nominated it, but thank you, thank you, thank you!

Are they really porn stars? I thought they were just regular gals who got together and made a calendar. Their website said there was no nudity and that it was all in good fun and good taste.

First of all, I'm sure this is an April Fools joke -Cannes? C'mon... Regardless, that is an AWESOME video. I seriously love the song; it's hilarious and it's really well written. I love the '60s vibe, and I like the "Gloria" riff at the end, too.

Really though, that's my new favorite Ron Paul video. And it's definitely the best Ron Paul song.

OK, April 1 is almost over and this thread is about to turn into a pumpkin.

I apologize if I made anyone feel "fool"ish. I honestly didn't think this many people would fall for it. I guess I'm a better liar than I thought. Maybe I should join the Hillary campaign.

So hate me if you like, but I had a wonderful April 1 knowing so many people were watching my video and listening to my (Ron's) song. As a starving (for attention) artist, it was truly heartwarming to read so many kind and supportive comments on this forum. Someday when I really make it to Cannes, I won't forget it. Meanwhile,
