We keep having these online polls about what you feel is the most important issue for a reason... We are trying to gauge the priorities the American people place on each of these key issues and correlate that with public opinion polls. And in doing so, we would come up with who the ideal candidate is on either sides of the aisle. We will publish our results shortly.
The Democratic candidates whose views on the issues match most closely with public opinion polls are: Dennis Kucinich, Al Gore, and Barack Obama. Despite leading in the polls, Hillary Clinton's views do not align closely to the American public as Gore's and Obama.
The Republican candidates whose views on the issues match most closely with public opinion polls are: Ron Paul, Rudy Giuliani.
So try not to get too annoyed with the same old "What is your most important issue" poll.. :-)
