Nothing too exciting. We did get a resolution passed on marks of reprisals and not spreading democracy against the will of a nation. The people there didn't realize that the conclusion of the resolution would be to end the war on terror and the war in Iraq. One guy in my precinct saw me smiling when it came up and stood up just to say that he didn't like it, because he is anti ron paul.
I got nominated to be an alternate to the state convention. I don't know how many of us made it to be actual delegates. I am disappointed I didn't get to be a state delegate, but I figure I'll just take over the whole party instead, just give me some time.
The most appalling thing I saw get passed was a resolution calling for the government to seize and auction all the property of illegal immigrants to fund their deportation. I couldn't believe people would consider such a thing. I made a motion to strike that part, and some lady told me the democrats were meeting across the street. stupid fascists.
Does anyone know how to run for justice of the peace? I know it pays well, at least by my standards, and it can't be too tough because a guy from my high school got elected while he was still in high school.
Why is it so hard to find out how to run for elected office online?

If everyone knew how easy it was to run for local office, all the people in power would be gone. They are simply protecting their own turf by not being forthcoming about the rules.

I am proud of the Ron Paul folks in Texas.
I can't wait to come visit and shake some hands of my fellow patriots.
