It finally came!

So my wife left the mail on the counter last night. I saw a yellow envelope with my name on it. Didn't look familiar at all. I open it, and it's A NEWSPAPER!

HUH???

It's the AMES, IOWA newspaper from August!!! The Ames straw-poll! I FINALLY got it in the mail yesterday!

The stamp says it was sent on August 14th!

I emailed once asking what happened to my paper a week or two after the straw poll but never got a reply and I never bothered to call. It was only a couple bucks charge on my credit card, so I never bothered.

I figured they had so many requests for the newspaper my order just got forgotten in the shuffle. Well, it looks like the good people of Iowa mailed it, but it just got lost in the USPS system.

Maybe it wound up in Taiwan with those fuses and they just now got it sorted out. I always enjoyed that ad.
