Wal-Mart Sues Brain-Damaged Employee Injured on the Job (Because of Wal-Mart)

I seriously can't believe this is true, but check the web for other sources. Keith Olbermann calls out an unscrupulous corporation for the horrific treatment of one of its workers.

Dude, the woman was not injured on the job, she was broadsided by a semi. You might want to pay a bit more attention to accuracy in your blog.

...and the family knew ahead of time that their policy did not allow them to collect from both a court settlement and an insurance policy, and they tried to do it anyways.

...and their's already a thread called "walmart is evil".

Injury/misfortune + dishonesty =/= right

I knew Olbermann would jump into this socialist propoganda bs.

There's already a really long thread pointing out that she was ultimately reimbursed twice for her medical expenses. All insurance companies have a clause prohibiting this, and she and her family are wrong for trying to extort money out of Wal-mart.

Yes, she is a sad story but that doesn't mean she should be allowed to steal $500,000 from a corporation.

Redistributing wealth just because "they have so much money they don't need it" is contra-conservative.
