See exactly what it cost to advertise in Pennsylvania. I say ESPN 2 in the morning, Comeday Central late night. News channels are expensive and a given if the money is there. CNBC does look cheap though. I am thinking in terms of a network that could be good place to find people who have never heard of Dr. Paul.

Comcast Philadelphia. List of channels and times.

ABC Pittsburgh.

Ask HQ why they can't figure out how to use this video. This would create alot of buzz and the local media will be all over it. $50,000 would flood the biggest markets in Pennsylvania with this innovative ad. Let them know how important you think this is. Why is this not worth the effort to hack out the legal issues? Give them an email to ask for answers.

I found a site that has a list of Pennsylvania TV stations with links to them.

Read this story today. Looks like PA is hungry for some politics. Dr. Paul needs to go on a state wide tour.

The creators have made the 5K goal. BUT IT DOES NOT BUY MUCH.

THE CREATORS ARE ASKING FOR FEEDBACK.

This is what the campaign means by letting it up to us. They are just waiting to respond to our demands. Make them come out with an official answer. I am not content with just letting this slip away.

Also comment on the dailydose site. He mentioned maybe doing something with it.

Even if donations to the official campaign are down, when HQ gets thousands of emails about a topic it shows them there are still very enthusiastic supporters.

It is a given the news networks and news programs are watched by voters. But that is expensive. With this ad I think advertising on different networks would work well.

The campaign has to be sitting on 3-5 million dollars still. I get the impression they are lazy and simply don't care since all appears lost, more than anything else. There's no reason they shouldn't be able to pick up the ad and run it in a few states. It was bad enough trying to get them to respond when we actually had the numbers to make a loud demand, but since the energy has gone, it seems near impossible now. I would be very surprised, but glad, if they somehow get around to running this ad.

Also look into contacting your local news stations about the video. Tell them all the background you know about it. Try to get some free airtime.

I am going to get a list of them from Pennsylvania and post it here.

Good example. WTAE has a youtube of the day on their site. I sent a email saying I really follow politics and found this and discovered it is from a local PAC. I added that I did not care to much for Dr. Paul but liked the video.

History Channel since that's the one with people who would know what Ron Paul is talking about.

People who vote watch the news channels.

I live in PA and Obama ads are on MSNBC and CNN in the evening. I bet they spent some cash on research to figure out where to invest their advertising dollars.

You should update your thread about donating and tell the people April 4th is last day for hightide ad. Give them the price info and ask for comments. You should start spending the money now to see how people respond. Let people know the process of getting something like that on air.

Try out some late night real cheap time, like ASAP. Is it possible to cut it to a 30 sec spot for alternative networks. Then I would say go with the CNBC and Saturday noon news in Pitt. If you get some action off the late night try more of that. I do think going national news would be a wash because if they are watching it as soon as the commercial is done the news will go right on about the other three. Go local news.

The reason Comedy Central seems good is because 12 to 1am, Daily Show, Colbert Report, replay during that time.

Maybe cut a few seconds out and make sure your PAC site is shown and maybe a message about him still being in till the end.

Good Luck.
