online job applications, and driver license scans????

Anybody notice the trend towards online job applications for minimum wage jobs? They ask numerous psychological, and none of your business type questions.
Stopped at the local SUNOCO tonight on the way home. Bought some beer on credit. I do not believe this makes a difference. Asked for driver`s license for age. They SCANNED IT??? Asked the cashier about this and told her it was rediculous, last time I buy anything from here. She said she agrees. I guess they do at night. Anybody any comments??

Maybe they want to get an idea of who buys beer. :rolleyes:

In my state, I have always wondered why we couldn't buy beer on Sunday morning.
If there is a supposed separation of Church and State, then why should it matter what day one buys beer? Is it because they are afraid someone will drink on Sunday morning and then be so drunk they won't go to church?
