Ron Paul will be speaking at Penn State on April 11th. :D

Does anyone know if this is open to the public. I would also be interested to know if he will be speaking anywhere else in PA... Has anybody here heard anything?

This is a little off topic from the thread, but can it be said that a conservative estimate for RP's Pennsylvania votes on April 22 will be around 40,000?

The best anyone could do is speculate. I speculate 40,000 seems too high.

is pennsylvania a caucus state?

No, it's a primary state. But delegates supply the real vote.

Like 123tim said, it is a primary. But we directly elect delegates who are "unbound" although we know who the RP ones are. As far as i know, the presidential preference poll doesn't hold any weight as far as how any delegates are expected to vote.

Free and open to the public. Ron Paul is also "tentatively" scheduled to speak at IUP on Thursday April 3rd (per the email to my local meet up group).
